This is THE place to stay in Stowe. I was here a few years back with my daughter while my wife was down the street on a girls' trip. Stayed in a suite in the main building (they have motel-style rooms in a separate building that are still very nice).

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodations were top-notch; the hotel has been renovated perfectly. The hotel restaurant is solid and you're right in the center of Stowe with easy walkability to the entire town. The front desk even found something I had left behind and mailed it to me.

This is our first time staying at Stowe Village Inn. Pleased with its location as it is very close to Stowe downtown (main streets) and many food options nearby.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the room itself is clean, although not many in-room amenities available, but it definitely has the basic stuff you need.

We had a FANTASTIC stay here! It was beautiful! The staff were so friendly, the rooms were clean, and it was close to absolutely everything. Cant say enough good things. The only thing I wish they had was breakfast. They do have coffee and tea available all day, which is really nice, but I do wish they offered even a continental breakfast or scrambled eggs or something. I will say, the price for our stay was unbeatable and offering breakfast would probably increase that, but I'd gladly pay $10 more/night for that. Over all, fantastic stay, would definitely stay here again - might make it a yearly tradition.

I have stay here 2 times this winter. Once in the Main Inn and once in the Motel. Both stays were perfect. Everything is very clean and the staff are great. Walking distance to town and close drive to Stowe Mountain. Perfect place to stay for a ski vacation. I will definitely be back for a third time!

We had a wonderful stay at this historic property, perfectly located adjacent to "downtown" Stowe. Clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed, great coffee in the mornings, best restaurant in town by the river on the first level. We'll be back!

Honestly I can’t over state how wonderful our stay here was. The rooms were clean and modern while the rest of the lodge was classic and beautiful. Staff was exceedingly gracious and attentive. Grant’s restaurant is low key fine dining. We can’t wait to come back. 10 min drive to Stowe mtn or take the shuttle. Quaint downtown Stowe is a picturesque 5 min walk

We recently stayed at the Stowe Village Inn. From booking the room with April who went the extra mile in securing a room for us in the main inn to Amanda who checked us in and took extra time in sharing places to eat breakfast or lunch, everything was perfect. I also want to mention Jasmine and Savannah who were very helpful and friendly. The owners of the inn have done a wonderful job in making the inn a cozy and pleasant place to stay. We especially loved the hot chocolate and coffee that is offered throughout the day. It’s a nice touch that’s very much appreciated. Loved the beautiful atmosphere and food at Grants. Again, the staff was amazing! Thank you Stowe Village Inn. We hope to see you all again.

We spent 8 nights at the Inn and it was as comfortable as if we were at home. The room was spacious, the beds comfy, and the common areas relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful. Big shout out to Savannah for her warm smile that greeted us each morning and afternoon. The cleaning staff also did and amazing job keeping the inn and our room clean, no small feat with all the snow, sand and grit. Highly recommend staying here. Excellent value for your money.

The inn is conveniently located in town a short drive from the ski mountain. We stayed in the main inn building. The room and bathroom were updated, clean and comfortable. There was a good-sized fridge in the room, a boot tray and hooks for coats, all things appreciated by skiers. There were extra pillows and a blanket in the room. I would have liked the option of a down pillow. Staff is very friendly and nice. I would stay here again.

The Stowe Village Inn was a delight. Right off the bat, its exterior is idyllic. Beautifully maintained and covered in a blanket of snow. There was plenty of free parking and right by the inn. The woman behind the desk who checked us in was welcoming and gave us all the necessary information. I would have thought she owned the place. The common areas are cozy and beautifully decorated. It has plenty of games you can sit and play or take to your room. They serve complementary hot coffee, tea, and hot coco all day. They have a small area you can buy other beverages and even a closet for things you forgot like toothbrushes etc. Our room was two queens in the main house and was even more spacious than I thought it would be from the website. It was very well kept during our entire stay. The bathroom was a bit small for my husband, son and I but I always feel like that traveling with them. The TV was equipped with YouTube TV so we could watch Christmas movies in the evening. If you stay here they give you a free appetizer coupon with the purchase of a drink at Grants which we put to good use our first night there and it did not disappoint. The location is perfect, it was an easy walk to all the local restaurants and shops and even AJs where we rented our ski equipment. It was also a short drive to the mountain. Overall, this was a 10/10, I would definitely stay here again!

Our first visit to Stowe exceeded all expectations, thanks to the exceptional inn. We stayed in the contemporary motel wing opposite the main building but had full access to the Inn’s amenities. The staff at the front desk welcomed us warmly and were very helpful. The convenient location allowed us to easily walk into town for shopping, dining, or drinks, and to explore the surrounding area. We are certain we'll choose this inn again for future stays.

WOW!! Our experience at the Stowe Village Inn was truly wonderful. From the moment we stepped in, it felt just like a cozy home away from home. The whole Inn was beautifully festive, and my kids were absolutely delighted by the Christmas tree in the lounge. Since this was our first visit to Stowe, I’m pretty sure we’ll be coming back for many more Christmas holidays and ski trips with my family. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even had hot chocolate and a tea bar available 24/7 in the lounge, which added such a warm, inviting touch to the cozy atmosphere. The beds were simply amazing—after a night’s sleep, I felt refreshed and recharged. We travel quite a bit and usually stay in hotels, but this time I wanted a special, cozy feeling for the holidays, and it was perfect for our family trip to Stowe. The Inn is conveniently located just off the main road, so it’s easy to walk to everything—great for dining out and exploring downtown. I honestly can’t say enough how much we loved our time in Stowe. We’ll be reminiscing about this trip for years to come and are already looking forward to making more wonderful memories here. We had the most amazing stay! This was our first time visiting Stowe, and the inn was even better than we could have hoped for. The rooms are beautifully updated and so clean - the common areas are stunning and have kept the original character of the building. Melinda was so kind and helpful throughout our stay - even made us a fire on our last night outside! The location couldn’t be better - we were easily able to walk into town for shopping/dinner/drinks and explore all weekend. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Wow. My husband and I are currently working remotely and touring around New England - and we found this hotel. It’s in a fantastic area of town (not on the Main Street but just a block away so it’s convenient but quiet.). There is so much parking available for both the main inn as well as the motel in one location. We stayed in the inn but the motel also looked amazing and it seems like all of the rooms here are being renovated really beautifully.
The manager, Melinda, and front desk support, Jasmine, were both really lovely, personable and so helpful to ensure we got the best room for the week we’d be there working remotely. We stayed in the suite and it could not have been better! The room was large, beautiful, comfortable and well laid-out.
We also ate at Grants (the hotel restaurant) one night and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere, the food and drinks were delicious and the service from Dave and also the gentleman serving the food was outstanding.
If/when we return to Stowe we will absolutely return here and highly recommend it - 10/10

We loved our stay here! We were in the modern motel section (a great budget-friendly alternative), which is directly across from the main building, with a shared parking lot, so it's easy to enjoy all the amenities available in the lobby, including free coffee, tea, and cocoa, along with a filtered water dispenser and a cabinet of extra towels and toiletries.

The room itself felt cozy with soft lighting and was spacious enough to move around easily despite our multiple suitcases. Coat hooks by the door were much appreciated, as was the cozy bed.

We had dinner one night at the hotel, which had live music, wonderful service, and an excellent, fall-driven menu. I'd make a reservation ahead of time, as it gets busy quickly.

Last but not least, we arrived about an hour early, and the person who greeted us at the desk was friendly and accommodating. I wish I had written down her name because I appreciated her welcoming energy and willingness to let us check in early since the room was ready. It started our stay on the right foot.

We will definitely book this place again in the future, though we may switch it up and try the main building next time.

Like many others, I found the Stowe Inn excellent in many ways. The room was very comfortable and clean, with all the furniture very comfortable. I loved being able to go downstairs directly to the lobby and restaurant. The lobby itself was fun for hanging out. The restaurant serves good food that came promptly and if a drink got low, they were there to see if we wanted another. Overall the staff in every department was friendly and helpful, and I felt like I got good value in the restaurant and room.
